Hungary Proposes Major Changes to Public Spending in 2027

Hungary’s proposed 2027 budget, submitted on 31 October, includes HUF 64 billion in additional support for local governments and HUF 50 billion more for Budapest public transport. The proposals create opportunities in public-sector planning, infrastructure assessment and policy research.
